I recently noticed a whining (humming) noise from under the hood -- sounds like near the manifold. It is audible when idling and then becomes louder as I accelerate. The sound seems to disappear when I am at my cruising speed. I have no operational problems -- no problems steering, no problems when car shifts gears. What possible issues should I be looking for?
