Also what can happen if you drive to long on a bad wheel bearing? Every time I turn left there is a knocking noise that I do believe is coming from the back end left side. I have new tires and struts the wheel bearings where last changed in 2006.

i was told today the my front passenger wheel bearing is very bad and that could be the cause of the noise but I don't see how. Also curious if I continue to drive with the wheel bearing as bad as it is what are the chances of the tire falling off or folding. Getting it fixed in two weeks when the monies is available but extremely scared never had this problem before.

If the bearing is making noise, then we do need to replace it as soon as possible.

If this continues, then it will either lock up or just come apart and your wheel will most likely not fall off, but it will do more damage that we can avoid by just replacing the bearing now.

Below is the process on how to replace the bearing so let's go ahead and get it replaced and let us know what other questions you have.

Thanks
