Clutch porblems

Hi there I have a 2001 Evolution 7(JAP) and I been having some serious clutch porblem my car is fairly stock few mods pistons connecting rods head studs head gasket headers with pipe  are the mods but I have not upgraded my stock clutch slave don't know if that I have to but my real issue is my Evo are destroying  every clutch setup am putting in it  as if it's staying engaged don't know how I don't lunch don't race on any tracks do few street races but not burn outs or donuts or anything harsh and I have destroyed four complete clutch setup less then one year the clutch setup that I had are 1) Exedy Twin 2)Act 6 puck Xt 3) Competition twin 4) Competition twin replacement disc  and and there are now gone to can you pls pls HELP ME!?

I hate to say this but stop with the burn outs and abusing the car. It is not set up for that kind of use. I doubt there is a clutch set up that can withstand this kind of abuse.

Drive it normal and I bet you get the longevity back.

But that's what am saying I DON'T do any burn outs or track racing or any harsh driving may do a lil speed on the high ways only And even tho I take my time still destroying the clutch

If I was doing some serious abuse like that then I would understand why it's going and going so fast but that's not the case I take my time and my car is eating up clutch :-(

If I can't get an ansa to my porblem am getting ready to change everything that's deal with the drivetrain but don't want to spen alll that money if one or two parts need to change was thinking of changing gear box new clutch set up again drive shaft clutch slave

Yes when ever I change clutch I do the whole setup clutch fly wheel plate bearing

The collar the rowout bearing rides on, is it scored or worn with a shoulder?

I can really say cuz I don't do the work my self it goes a shop but yet still after new clutch is put in I have dis same porblem few months later

Have they been warranting these jobs for you? Have they offered any reason? If they are a good shop, they should be helping you out here.

They were all payed jobs and that's pretty much the only shop over here that does or deal with Evo and performance cars they said I need to learn how to drive but even if I couldn't drive there's no way I could run through clutches that fast and plus dis is not my first manual car and have had big street bikes and never a clutch porblems like dis am living in the Bahamas I know of I was anywere state side this issue would have been slove if you give some advice on what I can change I'll just change ever needs to change to slove dis porblem and also how I had the competition twin in and when I am cruise n and just eas off the gas pedel I hear a grind n sound the guys said that's the clutch that I have in there causing drive shaft to make that noise

You need a new shop. Shame you are not state side. It sounds like this guy does not have any idea of what is going on.

Wish I could help you more but not much we can do from here without seeing it.
