I kept having the indication of a door ajar that would not go away. This was keeping the lights on in the car. So I tried a few fuse's and this did not work so I just unplugged the battery main. Well, I put the battery main back on that same evening and now the A/C will not work. Its just blowing hot air. The A/C worked fine before I did this. I have checked each of the AC fuses and none seem to be burnt. Any ideas? It sounds like the compressor is kicking in but still no cold air, rather hot actually like the heater is on. Thank you.

The AC blend door may have gone through a calibration and stuck on hot. Try moving the adjustment for hot to cold and back a gain a few times.

As for the door ajar light.

The switches that control the lights for open doors are made right into the door latches and they have a history of sticking and causing problems like that.

Here is a technique that often works well and eliminates the problem at no cost.

Get a can of spray lube like WD40 or something like it and has a straw on the nozzle. Spray it generously up into the latch mechanism. Now open and close the door numerous times to work it in. Repeat this process several times. Since you don't really know which door is causing the problem, you should do all of them. It's usually caused by the most frequently used door but it's not guaranteed to be that one.
