2001 Lexus GS 300 fuel light

My fuel light don't come on. My fuel was down to 44mi. Left before I noticed no light on. Had fuses checked all good. No only that my doors on passanger side stop working automatically with key or without. What could be the problem. I appreciate your help.

Then that has to be a problem with the dash gauge unit itself.
