2001 Land Rover Freelander Engine would not start

While replacing new battery, by mistake positive was connected to the negative side and the negative to the plus side, it horn. On checking the fuses only the roof top 5amp fuse was blown. Now the engine would not start. All the signal comes on, except the air-conditioner and the FM radio are not working. Please advice me what to do.

You need to check fuse and fusible links, if all these are ok, there is a chance that you have damaged the ECU with a voltage spike, the fuses should protect the computer but this is a real possibility, ensure that all fuses are ok first.
