Does a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo require a mounting kit?

I cant find a mounting kit anywhere for my rodeo, I looked at every parts store in my town and none of them keep it in stock. I had it looked at by someone who works at a custom car audio shop in town and he told me that my rodeo dosent require a mounting kit.

I don't think you are going to find any unless the supplier of the the stereo set provides it. After market stereo sets requires you to set up the wirings yourself.
