How do I get the window regulator in and out on both doors of a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon? I know how to remove the door panel, just not sure what steps are needed for R&R. Both windows have fallen to the bottom, though the motors still work.

There are 3 bolts that hold the window to the regulator. Pull all three. Now the window is free. When you lift the window you will see that there are 2 stops one on the far right one on the far left. They are bolted to the door panel with the same size bolt as the previous ones. Remove both of the bolts and pull out the rubber stops. Now the window will lift out directly up from the door. With the window gone you will be able to see where the regulator attaches. It is a diagonal track with 2 bolts left and right on the top and 2 bolts on the botton. Remove all 4 bolts. Next the motor will be directly forward of the track. It is attached with 3 bolts. Remove all three. Now your regulator will be free. It will take a bit of manuvering but will come out. One thing that helps is to know that some of the bolts are in back of the fabric that is inside the door attached with "tar" type stuff. Just pull the fabric off. Goodluck it's not to bad of a repair. Make sure to reattach your wiring harness and try the motor before you put it all back together.
