2001 Honda Stream automatic gear

I was traveling when I discovered that my automatic transmission fluid is finished and I traveled for close to 60km without ATF. It was not changing properly. I then installed an ordinary ATF which I used for almost 400km. I then replaced with the correct type. Since then it is not performing up to my expectations. Sometimes it produces loud raves than smooth

Unfortunately, you will likely have to have the transmission rebuilt now. Honda's require special fluid and not using it will destroy the internal components.
