After the car ran for about 10 minutes the upper radiator hose was hot and the lower one was cold, also both of the hoses that connect to the heater core were also cold as well. At the same time I noticed smoke coming from the rear of the engine below the intake manifold and also smoke coming out of the tail pipe.

The head gasket was replaced about a week ago so could something have gone wrong already?

Before I take it back to the shop I have another question, today I let the car run for like 5 minutes and noticed coolant leaking from the rear of the engine I have not fully looked into this yet but is it possible that this is what caused the smoke that was coming from the rear of the engine by possibly dripping onto the exhaust pipe? Also what would cause coolant to leak from behind the engine?
