Hi, sorry not very experienced with cars so excuse me if I use the wrong terminology, but I've been having a problem recently with my Honda. Everything is 'normal' when I don't have my headlights on, but when I turn my headlights on, internally, my dashboard lights don't turn on at all and my blinker doesn't make the normal sound. Externally, my turn signal lights aren't working so I haven't been able to drive it at night. My brake lights and headlights still work when I have my headlights on, it's just the problem with the internal lights + turn signal lights.

I took it to the mechanic and they're not sure what's wrong, so I was hoping someone out there might have had this experience before. Thank you!!

Okay, I can help you, but I need more information, first does the car have DRL's (daytime running lights), Next when you turn the headlight come on bright or are they dull? The first thing I would do is remove headlight bulbs to check for melted connections which is common. Also, check the bulbs themselves for a filament that is burnt or shorted. Make the sure the bulb ground is good, if all of these are okay I would check the headlight switch itself. Have the mechanic check for power at the red/blk wire coming out of the headlight switch, (combination switch). This guide can help:

The switch must be plugged in, look for the red arrow below to see where the wire is located. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
