My car is dead because it needs a new battery but im not sure if I should buy two batteries for front and back? So how many batteries should I get?

How many batteries came original on your vehicle? I'm ony aware of one? Most autostores I deal with will deliver parts, that's good to know if you don't have a second vehicle to chase parts.
