Hello,

This sounds like an issue with battery or starter.
If the transmission was not engaging to park, then when you turn the key it will not make any noise.
Just so we cover the basic, have you tried to jump start the vehicle?
If you are able to jump start it and it runs normal, then it just needs the battery replaced.

If you are unable to jump start it and it just clicks, then it is likely a bad starter.
First make sure the starter cable is secured and free of any corrosion. Also make sure there is no corrosion on the battery terminal.
The clicking tells you that there is power to the starter solenoid, but the starter motor is not engaging.

I have attached the starter replacement as well as testing procedures below.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
