My torque strut mount is busted. I have the replacement part and know where the mount is located(passenger side by alternator). I was just wondering the procedure for replacing it was. I also have a transmission mount that's busted as well, Would I be better of taking that to a mechanic? Thanks!

If you have never done this before, yes, let someone familiar with the car repair it.

Well I wanted to do the torque strut mount myself, because it's not very invasive and right on the top of everything. I dont want to touch the transmission mount without knowing for sure what im doing.

Good idea, the strut is not loaded and is easy to change. The trans mount requires some work.

Good luck

Well, my original intent of this question was wondering if there were any special procedures for changing it, or do I just unbolt it?

No special procedures. Unbolt it and remove it. It should not be loaded. The other mount is very loaded.
