Is a Ford Taurus 2001 can work over 200 000 km with not much issue?

That would pretty much depend on how it was maintained. It is certainly possibly and even likely if properly maintained throughout it's life.

You can put half a million kms on these cars if you do regular oil changes and regular trans fluid replacement and filter. Also drive it nice/I have a 2001 Taurus se 3.0 liter Vulcan 455 000 kms on it original motor and transmission still drives beautiful and smooth and still lots of power

Most trannys on these cars fail around the 250 000 - 300 000 km range if the tranny was never serviced
