2001 Ford Focus Started Car Put Heater On Constantly Ticks Settings Apart

When I have started my car and put the heater on It constantly ticks in all settings apart from the highest setting but if its turned off it stops I've just had my heater rheostat changed as it would only work on the highest setting, any ideas what it could be?

It sounds like there is something in the heater box that the fan is hitting. That is where I would start.
