2001 Ford Focus Manual Transmission Fluid Change

2001 Ford Focus Front Wheel Drive Manual 95000 miles

I need to change the trans fluid on a 2001 Ford Focus. It has a manual trans. I can't find a drain plug or fill plug on it.

The filling hole is on top of it, should be just underneath, a little behind and to the left of your battery. Its almost in the center of the tranny. The hole is covered by a small, about 2x1 inch, black cap. The same hole is used for drainage I believe. I was changing clutch on my focus so fluid drained through the axel pretty much. Also, if its any help, u should fill the fluid just to the 3/16ths below the hole level.
