I have a 2001 Ford Econoline E350 extension van. The first seat belt behind the front passenger seat is not working properly. This is the seat belt that comes from behind the side double doors up to the first bench seat behind the driver and front passenger seats. It comes out part way and moves a bit, but does not come out fully and does not retract. I would like to know how to remove that passenger side interior door trim (without breaking it) to access the seat belt assembly. Could you tell me where the hook retainers are located and how to remove it?
Thank you.

I had actually looked around the internet, including youtube, quite a bit before posting. I looked again after reading your response, but I'm not seeing anything related to the interior van panel behind the side cargo doors (especially one specific to the Ford E350 Van). I guess I need the correct name for that interior panel. It finally dawned on me that it is not an interior "door" panel so my searches are not bringing up appropriate results.

Hey CW,

Start by removing the lower molding around the door sill first then remove any plastic covers that are hiding the mounting screws. Next, gently pry the plastic outward because the main piece is held on by plastic barbs that just pop in.

Please let us know happens so it will help others.

Best, Ken
