2001 Ford Crown Victoria rear brake rotor

Never worked on one of these before although I'eve done pad replacement but just can't figure out how to remove the rotor. This is on a 2001 Crown Vic P71 (Police package). I'm sure I need to have this turned, but as I say I just don't know how to get the thing off. Thanks for any information.

That's a pop off rotor remove the caliper and caliper bracket and pop the rotor off.

Hello,

To remove the rear rotor, first you will have to remove the brake pads and caliper.
You will need a special tool to retract the piston for the rear caliper.

The tool will line up with the piston and needs to be turned to retract the piston back in the housing.
