Was driving loss of acceleration oil gauge droped instantly turned of truck right away waited several minutes checked all fluids, all fluids were full tried to start truck it crank over would not start temp trans light appeard on the dash followed by check gauge light what would cause that to happen

Use an analog gage in place of the oil pressure sending unit. Double check oil pressure. If that is ok and the vehicle cranks, have a helper crank it, while you check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure.
