Weels rubing on front bumper plz help

I have a 01 durango and it has over sized weels on it and there rubing on the front bumper bad! A friend told me I can loosen some bolts on the bumper and move it out about an intch or so. Will this work? Plz help I cant aford a lift of it or new weels

First, you have to understand we only recommend direct fit parts. However, if you need to keep the tires, you have no other choice. Please keep in mind, there are air bag sensors on the front of the vehicle. They will not work properly if you modify the bumper. Remember, this is not a recommendation. I would recommend getting smaller tires.

I understand its not safe but I have no choice I cant aford new one ATM is there just a quick fix or somthing I can do its wearing groves in the tires

Really, there is no quick fix. The tire is too big for the vehicle.
