My 2001 grand caravan sport ( 3.3l, w/ rear a/c ) compressor clutch went bad. I was searching for a used 1 at local auto salvage yards and was wondering if the same a/c clutch was used in any other year, make. Or model vehicles to make finding the part quicker

I've been told this was a high-failure part. You're better off with a new one. A former student just replaced it on his 2000 Dakota for the second time. The first one was used and lasted three months. A former teacher just replaced his on his 2001 Dakota. Put a new one on and he hasn't had any problems.

I just replaced my compresser with one from the wrecking yard. The compressor has to be off the same engine as yours.
