the torque converted clutch is sliping greater then 20 rpm can this be reset to say 30 rpm so i do not get p1887 code

My reference material doesn't show a P1887 code. But I do see a number of people with the same issue. This many people having the same trouble with the same year, make, and model tells me it's a known issue that the dealer should fix for free.
