I have a 2001 Chrysler town & country that I have a code for cylinder 2 misfire. Also, idle and runs rough
just within yesterday when error code came on. Have it parked and have replaced all spark plugs and checked wires but, still having the problem. What other areas should I check before taking to a repair shop?

How did you check the spark plug wires? Also did you make sure you had a nice blue spark to the plug? If all that checks out check compression to rule out a mechanical issue. Then we would be looking towards the fuel.

I just checked that all wires were not loose or appearance of burns when I changed the plugs today. Should I replace the wires also? I might be able to check compression if my neighbor can help. He has more repair knowledge.

You cant visually see a bad spark plug wire by looking at it usually are they the original wires? If they are original they will be dated around the same year of the van.
