gears dont switch after about 1 minute...can anyone please tell me whats wrong & how much it would cost?

for about 3 days my gear shift stick was hard to move & made a old rusty sound. it then stopped & now my car would only catch gears for about 1 minute then stop. was told the pressure control system was bad..the car moves in drive & in reverse but no matter what direction the it stops after about 1 min..all fluids filled....

it sounds internal which would require a trans shop for a pinpoint diag. it most likely has to be removed and most likely overhauled. no quick fix for this one. sorry.
