Gears dont switch after about 1 minute. Can anyone please tell me whats wrong & how much it would cost?

For about 3 days my gear shift stick was hard to move & made a old rusty sound. It then stopped & now my car would only catch gears for about 1 minute then stop. Was told the pressure control system was bad. The car moves in drive & in reverse but no matter what direction the it stops after about 1 min. All fluids filled.

It sounds internal which would require a trans shop for a pinpoint diag. It most likely has to be removed and most likely overhauled. No quick fix for this one. Sorry.
