Why does my brake light on my 2001 buick park ave. Come on only at night? Works perfect in the day time?

I missed something? Are you saying no brake lites during the day? In the diagram, the lite blue wire is voltage for stop lamps. I'd have to check for voltage when the problem is ongoing.
