2001 Buick Century Fuel

I recently replaced the canister purge valve however I can't get gas into the tank. It takes about 20 minutes to pump 4 gallons and the pump shuts off at any faster rate. I noticed a solenoid next to the filler tube, what is that

That would be the vent valve that controls the vent for the tank.

You need to replace or clean the purge cannister the filter in it is plugged
