The crank oil pump drive gear is it replaceable or do I have to purchase a new crankshaft

Of course it's replaceable, they wouldn't be rude enough to make you buy a whole crank, would they?

What engine?

The oil pan needs to be removed, and the front crankshaft seal "flange housing" to gain
access to the drive gear.

You'll need a puller to pull the gear off of the crank and something to knock the new one back on.
