Hi, I have 2001 Acura MDX. When ever i'm stopped on at a red light or stop sign, after releaseing the break pedal, and pressing the gas pedal Sometimes the car doesn't accelerate (move) but the RPM meter go's up. Then I try puting the shift gear in parking and then back to drive, after doing that it start to accelerate again.

I don't think so -could be your tranny is slipping, review the link-I can guess if you want me to but not my style-you can try and check the throttle position and vehicle speed sensor-start here
