I can not start the car because of an electrical problem. The motor does not even crank. It seems the battery is giving me power because the light can be put on and I can turn the interior lights on too. When I'm turning the key to start the engine, the ligths of the dashboard flicker and there are buzzing sounds from all over the dashboard. I had already seen it but only for few seconds and then it was starting correctly. Is it really a problem with the battery? Or the fuses? Or the computer?

Thank you in advance for your help,

Luc

Check your battery for condition including load test. It kind of sounds like the battery is culprit. Also make sure to clean terminal ends.

Also if you have an underhood fuse box check for a blown fuse there.

I would also check the battery condition. It sounds like the battery may have a dead cell or it's just really weak. I would also check the cable ends at the posts to make sure they're tight and clean. You also may have a faulty ignition switch. These vehicles are known for there faulty ignition switches.

Hi Hmac300 and Hondatech1983,

I didn't have the time to reply but I just wanted to thank you for your quick and helpful answers. The problem was indeed the battery's terminal ends which were full of rust. They have been cleaned and the cable ends have been changed. It's all good now.

Thanks again, Luc
