When the car is not in motion, or comes to a stoplight or stop sign a very loud howling noise from the passenger side is occurring. Don't see any cracked hoses or lines that jump out and grab my attention. What do you think this could be? Please help!

Without actually hearing the noise. Could be, air filter housing (gap/not sealing correctly), one of the bearings in Alternator, water pump, A/C
compressor or P/S pump.

You can (at your own risk) localize the noise using a long screwdriver, placed against various components, and then rest your ear against the
handle of the screwdriver. The component that has the bad bearing will sound much louder when comparing to other components.

Do at own risk, as it is easy to slip with the screwdriver and get caught in moving components!
