2000 Toyota Avensis loud noise from under car

Loud noise coming from under the car which started all of a sudden with no symptoms of a fault, my first thought was the exhaust had fell off as there was a metal rattling sound or the exhaust was dragging off the ground. I checked and exhaust has not dropped at all could this be the cat convertor or a heat plate loose?

If its not running bad at all then id say its not the catalytic converter. A heat shield will definitely do this, especially if you don't see anything hanging down under the car. Also does it do it all the time it runs, or just when its moving?
