Hi when we turn onto main beam the drivers side bulb goes out why is this

Check the bulb, it could be blown.

Bulb has been changed because we thought it was the bulb at first but it does it with the new bulb.

Were the fuses checked? Each light position has its own fuse, meaning there are altogether 4 fuses, 2 fuses for right (high and low) and the other 2 for left.
