Battery has corrosion on it

What is the white stuff on my car battery terminal and how to remove it?

That is oxidation due to acid from the battery getting to them. Hot water would dissolve them but they will come back again unless the terminals are protected. The simple cure is to apply some grease over the terminals but you can get battery anti-oxidation rings from the parts store. They are placed under the terminal coonections to prevent oxidation.
