Should I buy a used Saturn in 2011? Where can I get parts for it? Are GM parts interchangeable? Thank you!

Sorry. Question is should I buy a used 2000 Saturn SL1, now, in 2011, since they stopped making them in Oct. 2009. Can I get parts, repair, etc, are they GM compatible? Dont want a white elephant! Thanks for your reply. Carole

I see your point I would buy one I have a 1999 SL2 and there are part's every where aftermarket. The only thing's that are getting harder to find is interior part's but that's not a reason to not buy one.I find my hard to find interior part's at pick a part. The S model saturns are not gm compatible there engine's and transmission's are used in saturns only.

Thank you very much for the reply; Im going to have the car inspected, hope that it passes. It is like new, so hoping for several good years of economical driving on my 7 mile commute here in the country. Appreciate! Carole
