My brakes worked perfectly fine & quiet & then my master cylinder went. I replaced it & all was good for a couple of days. Now all 4 discs are grinding, loudly. I checked the pads when I bled the lines & all are good. It kinda feels like the calipers are grabbing when I hit the brakes, but not completely letting go when I let off the brake pedal. Stopping power is fine. I've done several master cylinders over the years & have never had this happen.

All set. Somoene suggested that I hit the brakes hard in reverse to readjust them, & it worked. I just got back from driving around & now there is no grinding coming from anywhere.

With four wheel disc brakes what adjustment is there? When you install new pads you press the brake pedal and pads adjust themselves. You only replaced master cylinder so thats even stranger. Glad to hear its working now but just dont under stand what happened lol.

It is strange, & I've never had this happen before. All I know is that it's quiet now, so I am happy! I was driving it & it was still grinding loud, so I put it in reverse & slammed on the brakes, shifted back into drive & no more grinding. Weird.
