My problem is in the transmission of my Pontiac Grand Prix SE 2000, 3, 1. After Drive some 15 miles the transmission begins to give a sound and each time that exercises the shift gears hits a shock, whether in second at 20 Miles then in third to 40 or 45 miles. I noted that if I stop the engine and I shooting in again leaving a few minutes (3 to 5 Minutes) the transmission functions again without problems but if I driving other 15 miles again the problem appears. I was in a Mechanic shop and they changed the converter but the problem continues. I thank you if you can report me which is the problem.

Take this to a trans pro so you can get a proper diagnosis. It can be electrical or a trans problem. Make sure your fluid level is correct though first. It has to be warm to do that.
