Acceleration problem 200 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP

My 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix hesitates when accelerating unless I floor it to get the Turborcharger to kick in. I changed spark plugs and gas filter but it continues to get worse and if you gently accelerate feels like the motor is missing or misfiring. The service engine light comes on and blinks when this happens.

Check engine light/SES on

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.
