Hi, I have a 2000 Pontiac firebird. I have had trouble starting it. I started by replacing the battery but that didn't help. If I shut off my car and then turn it back on in five min. I will have no problem starting it. If I wait 30 min-3.5hours I have to crack it 2-3 times. If I let the car sit for +3.5 hours I will also have no problem. Do you have an idea on what the problem is? thanks!

Start by checking fuel pump pressure. Make sure it is within the manufacturer's specs and make sure it doesn't drop off as soon as the car is shut. If you need directions, go to our homepage under the DIY section. There is both a video and directions for checking fuel pump pressure.
