Hi, I have a Bakkie 1.6i model.
My car has recently started to cut out while I am driving. When I take my foot of the petrol to stop it cuts out but I can restart it immediately again while still in motion.

I think I need to replace the fuel pump relay.
I cannot seem to find it so I can replace it. I have looked by the fuse box which is to the right of petrol pedal and under the bonet but just do not seem to be finding it.

Do you know where I will find it so I can replace it?

Thanks,

Lyndall

The problem is the fuel pump relay as I had the same problem with my Bakkie, the relay is located on the kick panel next to your accelerator or where your bonet catch is. It is easy to open and replace and you can buy the relay from open because the pirate parts do not last and are expensive. Jared
