I know how to remove the thermostat on a 2000 Oldsmobile silhouette, but what are the bolt sizes on the exhaust crossover pipe and on the thermostat housing its self?

Are they standard nuts and bolts? I usu/ally just try some sockets to see what fits? The exhaust may be worn rusted to a nonstandard size. Sometimes I can pound on the next smaller size. You can also buy special sockets for worn/stripped nuts/bolts. Also having both american and metric improves your selection for snug fit.

Thanks for the reply, I actually haven't seen the car its a friend of mine I was just wondering if anyone knew so I could be prepared with what to take with me. But I have my socket sets so I will take thoes and hope for the best. Thanks again for the reply.
