2000 Cougar electrical

My 2000 mercury cougar is killing batteries, two year old battery was fine then one day I started the car and put it in reverse car went dead, replaced battery. Replaced battery car started fine. The next morning battery dead again. Any help would be appreciated.

Refer to our homepage under the DIY section. Follow the directions under the electrical draw section to determine if something is killing the battery overnight or if there is a short, bad connection.
