2000 Mazda Van Over Heat

I Have Replaced The Thermostat Twice And Running It With Out Antifreez. What The Problem Is That It Does Not Over Heat As Long As I Drive 55-60 But when I Get Over That It Will Over Heat Very Fast. I Can't Figure This One Out. Do You Have Any Ideas As To What Will Fix This Problem? Grateful For Any Help. Richard Whitman.

You should never run straight water. If it's overheating only at higher speeds, suspected are the radiator not doing it's job or a blown head gasket from previous overheating.
