Lexus ES300, A\C recently started getting warm. I have noticed in a short observation that the AC operates very cold while driving. At a stop or stand still the AC intermittently blows between warm and cold air. Notably, if the AC is on at a stop or parked the engine temp rises. What are these symptoms a sign of? The first thing to check is to see if the fan is operating properly. After that you need to get a set of professional gauges and get readings on the high and low pressures both at idle and 2,000 RPM.

Yes, I have noticed that the fan/auxiliary fans are not turning while the engine reads hot (warmer than normal operations). Other than the high/low pressure test what do you think of that? Mahalo, Ivan

It's going to have to be troubleshooted to find out why.
