Water pump replacement?

Is it necessary to mess with the timing when replacing the water pump if the pulley never moved from original position? I zip tied the belt in place on the top cam pulley installed new water pump the belt was done 25,000 miles ago. Should I really reset the timing to the marks?

The engine is a 2.0L.

Yes, I would at least check the timing marks before putting it back together. Here are the marks. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
