The pulley for my air con belt broke and so the air con belt fell off. What can I do to prevent this from happening again and how do I repair it? My hands cannot reach into the area needed.

There is no way of preventing such from occuring except to replce the pulley bearings when they start to emit noises. Is it the AC compressor or idler pulley that broke off?
