how to replace valve cover gasket

I would like to know the steps for replacing the valve cover gasket and if the new rubber gasket requires silicon

Valve cover Removal

1. Remove breather hose (between air cleaner and rocker cover).

2. Remove spark plug wires. Remove ignition coil assembly.

3. Remove valve cover.

4. To install reverse removal procedure.

RTV is applied only to sharp corners of the gasket.
