2000 Hyundai Accent Fuel Check Valve

In case of fuel pump check valve failure, is it ok to install check valve for the fuel line like below image.

I don't think it will do any good when the check valve goes bad the fuel pressure leaks down so it takes it longer to start if you put a inline check valve in it will still lose pressure on the pump side of the valve.
