Sounds like you have an internal problem with the transmission-Get it pressure tested to find out more

To price a transmission repair is near impossible with out having a full diagnosis and also often having it pulled down if it is a mechanical issue, a full diagnosis may pin point any electrical fault or a major failure like a torque converter, these are a bit easier to price.
